Lattice Patio Covers in Weatherford, TX

Filtered shade, the classic look, zero maintenance — the most popular cover we build.

A lattice patio cover is the sweet spot for most Weatherford backyards: it takes the sting out of the afternoon sun without making your patio feel like a closed-in porch. Light still moves through the lattice, the breeze still moves under it, and your grass and plants next to the patio still get their sun. If your patio faces west or south and turns into a griddle by 3 p.m., this is usually the first option we'll show you.

Built from Alumawood®, not lumber

Our lattice covers are built from embossed, wood-grain aluminum. From the street it reads as painted wood; up close it's a baked-on finish over aluminum that cannot rot, warp, split or feed termites. There is nothing to sand and nothing to repaint — ever. In a climate that swings from ice storms to 105-degree Augusts, that matters more here than almost anywhere.

Options that change how the cover lives

What a lattice cover costs

Every quote is measured on site, but as honest ballparks: most residential lattice covers in our area land in the $3,500–$9,000 range depending on size, attachment, footings and options. A small door-side shade structure costs less; a full-width cover across the back of the house with electrical costs more. You'll get a firm written number after we measure — the ballpark is just so you know we're worth calling.

How the project goes

Free on-site measure and quote, usually within a few days of your call. Once you approve, we handle material orders and any permitting, and most lattice installs are complete in one to two days on site. We clean up like we were never there — except now your patio is 20 degrees more usable.

Not sure lattice is enough shade? Ask about a hybrid: solid panels over the seating area, lattice over the rest. It's one of our most-requested designs. Call (682) 332-6700 and we'll talk it through.

Lattice Cover Questions

How much shade does a lattice cover actually provide?

Typical lattice spacing blocks roughly 40 to 60 percent of direct sun, depending on the lattice tube spacing you choose. Tighter spacing gives more shade; wider spacing keeps the patio brighter. We set spacing based on which direction your patio faces.

Can a lattice cover be converted to a solid cover later?

In many cases yes. Because Alumawood systems are modular, a lattice section can often be replaced or overlaid with solid panels later. If you think you may want rain protection eventually, tell us at the quote stage and we will design the posts and header for it.

Will it hold up to Parker County wind and hail?

Aluminum lattice covers are engineered and rated for local wind loads, and unlike wood they do not loosen and rack over time. Hail that would dent a car will mark any product, but there are no shingles to shatter and no boards to split.

Does it really never need painting?

The wood-grain finish is baked onto the aluminum at the factory. It does not peel like paint on wood. An occasional rinse with a garden hose is the entire maintenance program.
